Place an Emergency Call

In case of an emergency, remember these 4 questions:
Where? What? How many? What kind? Then: Wait!

  1. Where did the emergency took place?
    Specify the place of emergency being as precisely as possible! This includes: Place, street, house number, floor or apartment number. On country roads, you can find small signs marking the street name every 100 meters.
  2. What happened?
    Describe the situation as briefly and precisely as possible! According to your description, the emergency call centre has to describe what kind of rescue means have to be called for this emergency.
  3. How many persons have been injured and/or are involved?
    According to this specification, the emergency call centre will decide about the type and number of rescue means which are sent to the scene of the emergency.
  4. Which injuries or sickness is the the concerned suffering from?
    According to this specification, the emergency call centre will decide about the type and number of rescue means which are sent to the scene of the emergency.
  5. Wait for questions!
    By asking specific questions, the operator at the emergency call centre can obtain the necessary information from you that is still missing. You will also be given instructions on how to proceed until the emergency services arrive.
